I was a late starter when it came to singing. Although I grew up with family singing and performing around me -  my shyness meant I waited until I was 14 to start singing. Something I've never forgotten is the nervousness I felt those first few times I sang. I took my first steps into singing with a theatre group. Later on, I gained a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts, followed by a HNC in Performing Arts -  a demanding and thorough course covering a range of performance skills.

Singing has stayed with me throughout my career and I have taught and sung professionally since 2007. Seeing my students succeed is something I take great pride in and I love that I can help them build their confidence at a young age, as well as helping adults overcome fears that they've had since they were young, as confidence is key and something that held me back when I was young.

Singing and teaching is a huge part of my life and I feel very lucky to have a job that I can say I love.

I have been singing since the age of 13 and attended a stage school in Hornchurch, Essex where I studied dance, drama and singing, with my focus always on singing and improving my vocals.

After leaving school I studied Performing Arts at Barking College where I qualified with a BTEC National Diploma and gained a Distinction in Music Performance.

During my time at college I had various roles for in-house and external shows; performing at the UEL and as a member of a Theatre in Education group. Since graduating I have appeared in shows at the Kenneth More Theatre, numerous shows for educational institutions and have reached the final of singing competitions both in Essex and in the North.

I have always believed that anyone has the potential to sing if they want it bad enough and are prepared to put in the practice. I love being part of the Sing with me team and helping my students move forward in achieving their dreams.

Singing is my passion. Ever since I can remember I have been singing. I’m lucky as I have a talented family who spent a lot of time singing whilst I was growing up.

I would say my confidence took a turn for the better when I attended college to study Performing Arts. This is where I gained much more confidence; I felt able to stand in front of an audience and just sing. I have sung and taught professionally for a number of years now and get great satisfaction using my knowledge and skills to build my students' confidence.

It is an incredibly rewarding job working with people of all ages and styles, I love helping my students achieve things that they didn't think was possible and watching them grow week in week out.

I came on board in 2012 as a singing teacher for Sing with me but also to help support and manage the business with Tara and I love being part of it.

I have always loved to sing since I was very young. It wasn’t until my years spent at college studying Performing Arts that I truly fell in love with music and performance and realised that I wanted to make it my career. I have qualifications in both Music and Drama (BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts, HNC and BA Degree in Drama).

I feel having experience and knowledge in both Music and Drama means that I know how each discipline can be brought into a performance, helping to build character and confidence!

I have experience working as a professional Singer for a cabaret company around venues in both the UK and in Spain. I then went on to find my true passion, which was using my skills as a Singer and performer to work with young people as a teacher at a stage school, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also worked for a Musical Theatre company touring around schools in Redbridge performing education shows and workshops for children.

I’m now privileged to be part of the Sing With Me team. I thoroughly enjoy coaching my students and helping them to achieve their goals.
